We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. What You’ll Do: * Manage sales tax returns, accounts payable, payroll processing, and benefits administration with precision. * Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts and the general ledger, preparing trial balances and ensuring accuracy in all entries. * Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts. * Oversee accounts payable using Bill.com, ensuring vendors are paid promptly and accurately. * Develop and maintain the chart of accounts and systems for tracking financial transactions. * Keep meticulous historical records by organizing and filing all supporting documents. * Prepare clear, comprehensive financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account data and trends. * Collaborate with the finance team to meet deadlines and contribute to special projects as needed. Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications: * College level coursework in accounting. * Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Bill.com management. * Strong understanding of cashflow management and cash management standards. * Ability to analyze point-of-sale (POS) data and extract actionable insights. * Excellent data entry and accounting reporting skills. * Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and thoroughness in all work. * Commitment to accuracy and dedication to excellence in financial processes.
