Longwood Eye & LASIK is a progressive, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice with a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. We are expanding our clinical team and are hiring multiple full-time Ophthalmic Technicians / Assistants to support our growing patient volume.

Position Overview
Ophthalmic Technicians and Assistants play a vital role in patient flow and clinical operations. Responsibilities may include:

  • Gathering medical history and documenting in the electronic health record
  • Measuring vision, intraocular pressure, and assisting with refractions
  • Administering eye drops and preparing patients for the physician
  • Scribing during examinations and accurately entering clinical findings
  • Performing diagnostic tests such as OCT, Visual Fields, Topography, Fundus Photography, IOL Master, Specular Microscopy, and A-Scan

Candidates with prior ophthalmic experience may begin at a more advanced skill level; those new to the field will receive comprehensive on-the-job training.
