Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Operations Manager to lead and inspire our commercial maintenance operations team. In this essential role, you will oversee the daily operations while providing strategic leadership and guidance to ensure that key objectives are met. Your focus will be on achieving high client satisfaction, driving client retention, boosting profitability, upholding company policies, and reaching financial targets. The ideal candidate will be an organized and proactive leader, committed to delivering exceptional results and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 40+ frontline team members, including superintendents, crew leaders, and crew members while enforcing all safety policies and procedures.
- Partner with a team of Account Managers to focus on creating a benchmark quality client experience in all aspects of our service. Examples are communication, property walks, client budgets, added value ideas, and profitability.
- Partner with Production Managers to ensure quality service across properties, with a focus on large properties that require specialized mowing management compared to smaller properties.
- Lead the Production team to focus on creating efficiencies in their team that move them towards team financial goals. These efficiencies are found in scheduling and routing, planning resources effectively, managing equipment needs, and decreasing waste.
- Support team members in addressing and resolving client issues.
- Creating seasonal forecasting regarding operations and labor manpower.
- Interface with clients at events, board meetings, sales presentations, and problem resolution.
- Develop and implement SOPs for Plant Growth Regulators (PGR) to improve quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with fellow Operations Managers to align team priorities, adjusting as needed with seasonal changes.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 3+ years field-related experience in managing services, preferably landscape services.
- Experience collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Experience with Aspire and Weathermatic is a plus.

Working Conditions
Standard indoor office environment and exterior environment dealing with all weather and all terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to hard hats, gloves, earplugs, safety vests, and safety glasses.
This position requires the ability to work during inclement weather events.
