Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily administrative activities, ensuring efficient office operations.
- Maintain company records, including production logs, material inventories, and personnel files.
- Prepare reports, memos, and other documents related to brass manufacturing operations.
- Assist with procurement and inventory control of raw materials, tools, and office supplies.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners as needed.
- Manage scheduling for meetings, appointments, and company events.
- Support HR functions such as attendance tracking, onboarding, and compliance documentation.
- Handle internal and external communications professionally and confidentially.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with finance for invoice processing, petty cash management, and basic bookkeeping.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an administrative role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
- Knowledge of inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with brass or metal industry standards and terminology.
- Understanding of supply chain and production workflows.
- Experience in coordinating between production and administrative departments.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the shop floor or warehouse.
- Standard work hours, with flexibility required during peak operational periods.
