Job Description
Reports directly to the Roll Tender with 1st Pressman and 2nd Pressman oversight
• To assist with the Roll Tender and Roll Tender responsibilities
• To understand the job’s packing requirements on the job ticket
• To pack cartons or tele cartons when applicable
• To stage all required materials for the job
• To sample and consistently resample the scales
• To clean and maintain cleanliness on and around the press
• To assist washing blankets while the press is down and from the exit side of the unit
• To assist with the startup of the press when necessary
• To read and understand the job ticket and verify correct materials are being used
• To communicate information pertaining to the job with the relief at shift change
