Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location

Hybrid role based in Downtown Los Angeles, with in-office work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and remote work every Wednesday.

Note

This role requires active California Bar admission and at least 1 year of civil litigation experience.

Job Description

  • Manage a full caseload of habitability matters from intake through resolution
  • Conduct client interviews, investigations, discovery, depositions, and negotiations
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery with increasing autonomy
  • Appear in court for hearings and procedural matters
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on complex, high-value cases
  • Maintain consistent, compassionate communication with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to build strong case strategies

Qualifications

  • Active and good-standing California State Bar license
  • 1+ year of civil litigation experience
  • Background in personal injury, employment, landlord-tenant, or related litigation preferred
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and independently handle case responsibilities
  • Comfortable learning new systems and litigation workflows
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, growth-driven attitude
