Job Title : Mainframe COBOL Lead Developer (JCL, DB2/IDMS)
Location: Albany, New York(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Qualifications:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL.
- Create and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing.
- Design, implement, and manage IBM DB2 and IDMS databases.
- Participate in requirements gathering, system analysis, and solution design for complex, multi-tiered systems.
- Write and maintain technical design specification documents for component-based systems.
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Mentor junior staff on coding standards, best practices, and system performance optimization.
- Monitor and optimize application performance.
