Design, develop, test, and implement applications on IBM Mainframe environments.
Work with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS to build and maintain business processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Perform batch job monitoring, optimization, and scheduling.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and infrastructure teams.
Perform impact analysis for system enhancements and defect fixes.
Work on performance tuning and optimization of existing programs.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
Support migration, modernization, and re-engineering initiatives.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
