Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Non CDL Driver (Box Truck) to join our team in Richmond, VA. If you enjoy driving and are looking for a role that allows you to be on the road while contributing to a dynamic team, this position is perfect for you! You will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to various locations.
- May have to assist with load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured and handled with care.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. with +3 or higher
- Valid DOT medical card
- Previous experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with the Richmond area and surrounding regions is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
