About the Opportunity
AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy (OT) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Red Bluff, CA. This 6-month contract offers stability, collaboration, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients’ daily lives.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance functional mobility, ADLs, and cognitive/physical skills
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies
Accurately document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Maintain highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and clinical excellence
Qualifications
Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred — new grads welcome to apply
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Compensation & Benefits
• $70/hr or $2,800/week as a 1099
