Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Day Shift
Location: Healthcare Facilities across NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens)
Pay Rate: $50 - $55/Hourly
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgical patients.
- Evaluate medical information to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications.
- Admit patients to the medical-surgical unit and ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Administer medications and provide effective pain management.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of two years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active New York State RN License
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
