Community Access Services (CAS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team full-time. In this role, you’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they work toward greater health, independence, and inclusion. Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse:
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered healthcare to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Ensure medical treatments, therapies, and physician orders are implemented and monitored as directed
  • Develop and maintain individualized assessments, health care plans, and medical protocols tailored to each person’s needs
  • Collaborate with the ISP team to identify additional healthcare service needs (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietary support)
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies
  • Provide training and ongoing support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on delegated nursing tasks in line with OSBN regulations and CAS procedures (e.g., G-tube care, insulin administration, glucose monitoring)
  • Support continuous quality improvement efforts to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals served
  • Model professionalism, ethical standards, and respect in all communications and relationships with individuals, families, and team members
What We’re Looking For in a Registered Nurse:
  • Active RN license in good standing in the state of Oregon
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong person-centered care approach with compassionate communication skills
  • Ability to train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on delegated nursing tasks
  • Proficient knowledge in tube feeding, care of J & G tubes, nebulizer treatments, catheter care, and familiarity with various pumps.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements under a national criminal background check
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
