Senior Accountant

My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a full time hybrid position based out of the Conshohocken, PA area.

Responsibilities:

• Guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of accounting data through recording, verification, consolidation, and transaction entries.
• Compilation of account information to prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
• Leading Month End and Year End Close processes.
• Reconciling bank statements to ensure financial accuracy
• Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations and maintaining schedules.
• Managing the Accounts Payable process
• Summarizing the financial status through collection of information and the preparation of balance sheets, profit, and loss statements
• Reporting and analysis to identify and explain variances.
• Facilitating external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts

Qualifications:

• Outstanding reporting and communication skills
• Expert in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office applications
• Able to navigate accounting systems
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA or MBA preferred
