Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or 6 additional years of relevant experience)
• Over 5 years of experience in budget formulation, justification, execution, financial review, and federal accounting systems
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP financial systems
• Familiarity with DoD budget regulations and financial frameworks
• Strong analytical skills to address complex financial and business process challenges

• Rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of the programs specific financial processes and establish rapport with key stakeholders
• Examine and rectify intricate business process errors and inconsistencies in financial data
• Develop and update comprehensive process documentation; provide training to colleagues on solutions and workflows
• Assess financial policies and propose enhancements to improve implementation while ensuring compliance with DoD budget and financial management standards
• Implement and oversee budgets for yearly and multi-year direct and reimbursable appropriations
• Supervise, reconcile, and monitor budget execution along with financial data
• Gather and summarize financial data for internal and external reports and make daily financial decisions while suggesting solutions for complex budgeting issues
