The AWS Cloud Logistics team seeks an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our Florence, KY location. In this role, you'll manage transportation operations for one of the world's fastest-growing industries while driving continuous improvement projects to optimize our operations. Key job responsibilities
• Partner with external Logistics Service Providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
• Extract and analyze data from multiple databases to monitor business performance and generate actionable insights
• Create and distribute key performance metrics to drive strategic business decisions
• Demonstrate quick analytical thinking to assess business trends and make data-driven decisions
• Lead root cause analysis initiatives to optimize Amazon's transportation operations and eliminate inefficiencies
• Collaborate across Supply Chain teams to develop and implement standardized solutions
• Effectively manage time-sensitive deliverables while maintaining high quality standards
• Spearhead medium to large-scale projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Willing to work independently on an alternate work schedule Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue day shift

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Proven experience in multi-modal transportation operations (ground, air, and ocean)
