Tube Laser Fabrication Technician
Imagine this: It’s 2:00 p.m. You power up the tube laser, scan the queue, and set the plan. You tweak a program, dial in the tech tables, make the first cut, and verify the dimensions with your calipers. Parts are deburred, orders are staged, and when something looks off, you loop in the quality manager without delay. You keep the equipment humming, the area tidy, and safety at the top of your checklist—then hand off a clean line of work at 10:30 p.m.

- Pay range: $20.00–$24.00/hour (+$2 once hired on)
- Shift: 2nd shift, Mon–Fri (2:00p–10:30p)

What you’ll tackle
- Set up and operate a tube laser to cut and inspect materials to spec
- Edit programs and tech tables to achieve consistent quality
- Deburr parts with fabrication tools to meet job criteria
- Prepare and prioritize orders; plan an efficient completion method
- Escalate substandard materials to the quality manager
- Promote safety, report concerns, and maintain equipment and building
- Support the shop with other duties as assigned
What makes you a match
- 1+ year of proven shop experience
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating a tube laser
- Confident reading blueprints
- Accurate with measuring tools (calipers, mics, tape, etc.)
- Forklift experience
