Community Conversations
Convid-19 has proven how fragmented societies are, particularly among the disadvantaged communities. The level of isolation and loneliness has become even clearer in these communities.
Our community conversation aims at creating connections and creating a platform to raise their awareness on diverse issues and challenges that affect their lives including but not limited to climate, crime, cost of living and poverty and raise their voices, ideas, and leadership skills.
To spearhead meaningful discussions and dialogue within communities, we offer community media and solutions journalism to young adults from ethnic minority communities. This enables them to lead stories, news and discussion that represent their communities and seek solutions to their problems. Authentic community conversations promote ownership and create a sense of belonging to every member in that community and reduce isolation and loneliness.
To ensure equal and adequate participation, we first identify issues and topics, locate directly impacted communities and organise their participation. The heart of our community conversation program is structurally community-driven and led initiatives.

Our other projects
Community Journalism
We recruit, train, and support individuals to gain journalism and multimedia skills and qualifications to become local Community Journalists thus diversifying voices, views, and representation of our communities.
Digital Inclusion
We recruit, train, and enable Digital Ambassadors to support communities to gain digital skills. We provide resources such as devices, calling and internet credit, ICT suite and other support.
Digital Storytelling & Media Literacy
We provide training, resources, and connections for individuals and communities to use technology to tell stories, amplify their voices, and to build the capacity of local communities.
Training & Courses
We provide community focused face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses in community journalism, community conversations, digital and multimedia skills, media literacy, among others.
Community Studio
We provide space to the community who share common interest in media ,storytelling and create expression The platform offers creative expression, social change and contributing to a more inclusive participatory media environment
